One of my users made a comment about how painful it is to add an account manually and he mentioned that it would be a lot easier to do so automatically. I wanted to clarify that this feature is already in place and active.
To automatically upload account information and its transactions, download a
QIF or
OFX file from your bank or application and upload. Financify will automatically generate an account name, create that account and upload all the transactions from within that file into the new account.
If you click on the accounts tab - there is a link to
Upload New Account on the right menu and the same applies to account transactions, there is a link on the right menu to
Upload New Transactions. NOTE: Financify will double check all transactions for duplicate and ignore those. i.e if the file has a transaction with the same name, amount and date, then it will simply skip that transaction to prevent double entry.
